An organization’s ability to resource adequately and deal with the human and social capital issues in transformation processes (including mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring) can make the difference between success and failure. Unfortunately, in many change initiatives, financial and strategic concerns take precedence and people issues are an after-thought.
